What is Sylvan?
Sylvan Learning has been providing supplemental education to students in pre-kindergarten through adult for over 25 years. Our goal is to give each student the attention and personal instruction he or she needs. We don’t just help students do better in school, we help students feel better about themselves

At Sylvan we help students develop the academic skills and self-confidence so they can do better in their regular classrooms. We work closely with parents and school teachers to improve academic performance. We contact teachers and meet regularly with parents to maintain a two-way flow of communication. Working together as a team we can help students realize their potential.

What does Sylvan do?
Many of our students focus on the basics - reading, writing, math and study skills. Some work to enhance their skills above grade level, while some students earn high school credit in English, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. Sylvan also offers prep programs for the ACT and SAT college entrance exams.

All Sylvan programs offer:

Sylvan Skills Assessment which identifies each child’s specific needs
Individual attention and personalized lesson plans for each student
Certified and trained teachers
Regular progress reports to keep parents updated each step of the way
